Room 1&2 MVS 2019

After reading lots of books about cats and drawing lots of pictures of cats, we turned ourselves into cats!  We did this by making masks out of paper plates, tissue paper and pipe cleaners. Being cats was lots of fun ... we didn't want to stop! 

Last week we went on a leave collecting adventure. We had lots of fun collecting the leaves and then writing about them. We also used the leaves to make leaf tracings.

Earlier in the term the class had a lot of fun doing splatter painting, and printing. We brainstormed words which we made into a poem. This if the result. We hope that you like it. Welcome to Tahi Rua We have had many new children begin with us this year. They are settling in well. While learning the routines we are enjoying; playing with the blocks, playdough, collage, painting, reading stories, singing songs and of course the playground.
