Sea Inquiry

For our Inquiry this term we have been looking at the animals in the sea. The children chose some animals that they would like to learn more about. The final focus will be - 'What we can do to help protect our sea and the animals that live there.' The children have loved the Inquiry and it has combined well with Writing and Art. Our Beans

We planted our bean seeds in Week 1 and by the end of Week 4 they were so tall - they had to go home! We loved watching them grow in our class and making sure they had enough water everyday. The bean seeds grew much faster than the lupin seeds. Lillian measured the tallest bean plant for us on Friday and it was 83cm tall! Time to go into the garden! Check out these photos of us with our beans on the day we sent them home ... it was also Wacky Hair Day at school that day which is why some of us have some wacky hair!
